Once upon a time there was a big harbour made of white stone. everyday many ships came in the harbour and left. the ships carried many things and were owned by traders. the ships brought things like carpets, spices and combustion engine parts and took away things like wheat, apples and iron ore.
every time a ship would dock the giraffes would help the people get down from the ships. the giraffes would go to the ships and the captain of the ship would give each of them 6 apples to eat. the giraffes liked apples and after they had eaten they would let people climb down their long necks.
and after all the men and cargo was was unloaded the giraffes went away. they would help sailors climb into the ships when the crew was ready to go into the great ocean. it was a nice arrangement, but there was one little boy who was scared of giraffes and was afraid to climb down their long necks.
He had come from a far away land and his parents were killed by a dragon and he was working on the ship for food. When the ship was the sea he had a lot of time to play but there was nothing he could play with except ropes and barrels. so he started playing with the ropes and started to make knots and weaves.
on the day before they entered the white harbour he had just finished his biggest rope ladder. and now the giraffes were gone and all the people were gone he was alone in the ship and he threw down his ladder and climbed down.
soon he told the captain that they didnt need the giraffes to climb down and if the crew used the rope ladders they would save a lot of apples. the captain agreed and soon all the ships were using the rope ladders. the boy became very fameous and was soon helping the captain with other things.
but the giraffes were very sad. they had nothing to do now. they looked at their young ones and they were hungry. at night they went to the moon and asked her what they should do now, the moon replied that they are giraffes and they should be in the African grasslands, not in a harbour helping human beings and their little trading ships. the giraffes did not know where Africa was and they asked the moon for help. but there was an evil black cloud that blocked the moon and it stayed there. so the giraffes could not talk to the moon anymore.
but the giraffes saw some clouds faraway on the horizon and the clouds were carrying baby elephants. the giraffes called the clouds and asked if they would carry their baby giraffes too, the clouds agreed and soon they came back after putting the baby elephants in Africa and took the baby giraffes to Africa.

how the baby elephants got to africa
Once up on a time there was a city full of tall buildings. The buildings were built by elephants. Each elephant had a building for itself. The buildings were made of brick and the brick was given to the elephants by the clouds who carried the bricks from the riverbank. Each morning the elephant would build on top of the building and then move on top of the newly laid bricks and thus the buildings grew as the elephants grew.
The clouds helped the buildings grow because then the city would stop the air which would blow the clouds away. All the clouds helped the elephants but one of them was an evil cloud. He would give the elephants hollowed brick, so the elephants did not know when they build with the hollowed brick.
Many years later the buildings became weak and started to crumble because the elephants were so heavy. As one fell, it affected the other and soon each and every building had crumbled to the ground. The elephants were very sad and they thought about what to do. They decided to go into the jungles and the grasslands, but they did not know where the jungles were.
So they asked the clouds where the jungles and the grasslands were and the clouds replied that they were far away, beyond the great ocean, in the land called Africa. The elephants asked the clouds how to go there, the clouds said that the elephants should talk to the whales who would carry them across the ocean. So the elephants walked for many days and many months till they reached the shore. There they met the whales who were in the ocean.
The elephants told the whales that they wanted to go to Africa and the whales should carry them there, in return the elephants would give the whales the skill to build buildings. The whales replied that they did not need any buildings and went away.
The elephants asked the clouds again, how they could go to Africa. The clouds said that only the whales were big enough to carry elephants, but if the elephants wanted, the clouds could carry the elephant children over the ocean into the lands of Africa.
The elephants were very sad but they agreed. And the clouds summoned more clouds and they carried the elephant children over the cliff where they stood and carried them into the land of Africa.
